Hi All,

I have had a computer for a while now, and it has had a very patchy service history, leading all the way up to last week when i returned from holiday, only to find one of my RAM sticks dead. I have had the PC sent back to the manufacturer multipple times, most recently on the 8th of August 2014, which in some ways is lucky. I am writing this post as i do not know what will happen to me now, as just this evening, my GPU died. It just suddenly went from bieng fine to dead. I am wondering if anyone on this forum could tell me if this could have been down to the power supply, or if i am out of luck with the warranty, as I do know that the power supply is still in warranty, just.

Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

What kind of CPU do you have? You can try using the Integrated GPU to test if the power supply is still working. Power supply is definitely a possibility.

Are you completely sure that the GPU is dead?

I am convinced it is the gpu, as when i turned it on the fans on it went to 100% and nothing appeared n the screen. i have also tried a different graphics card which does work. I just dont really know what could cause a graphics card to just die like that.
