Any more info on your computer? Even a GTX 750Ti, one without a supplementary PCI-E power connector should be able to do what you're asking. What's your budget and other parts of your computer looking like? Processor, ram, power supply, etc?

AMD Ryzen 5900X

T-Force Vulcan Z 3200mhz 2x32GB

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

EVGA G3 750W

Corsair Carbide 300R

Arctic Fans 140mm x4 120mm x 1

I have 4gb ram installed cpu which i guess is intel pentium4 2.8gh and the power supply is the one it came with and the budget is around 150$ and yeah i have 80gb of 7200rpm hdd which will be upgraded for sure

I don't think you're gonna get very far with that processor. Do you have a model number?

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

Dell optiplex 620

Hmmmm. if you want to simply speed up the system, I suggest getting a small SSD for keeping Windows and programs on. I suggest a 160gb SSD from eBay for about 40 USD: SSD

For a CPU, you could probably upgrade to a Core 2 Duo E8400, or a Core 2 Quad Q8400. Both go for around 15 USD on eBay.

DDR2 RAM that you need is ironically more expensive than modern DDR3 RAM, so there's not much you can do there.

In terms of a graphics card, you're not gonna really be able to do much. There are some cards that are recommended, but they won't really be able to do much for you, as they are very weak, and you won't be able to get a better one that would not be bottlenecked by your CPU.

In conclusion, I don't think that you could make any great upgrade to this system that would handle GTA V, and given the fact that i am in a very similar situation to you, I suggest you do what I am doing, saving up for an entirely different PC build. Get a summer job, any odd jobs, save up every penny. personally I mow lawns and take moving jobs, but you do what you can do.

That being said, it would not be a bad idea to get an SSD and a hard drive upgrade, if you really want them. But I suggest you save and get a whole new PC as fast as you can.

Good luck!

Thanks dude

Update:if you want an SSD and a biger hard drive, there is a sale right now for Hitachi 2tb Hard drives: 2tb Hard Drive

Then youcould get an SSD: 160gb SSD for booting as a fast boot drive.

If they fit in the optiplex 660,this would be a great solution for just 60 USD,and you can transfer them overif you get a newer PC later on.
