Does the GeForce Experience optimize game settings feature work properly? As in, does it help your FPS? or does it make your game look better, but take away FPS?

It's meant to use predetermined settings based on your current hardware to give the best experience in both visuals and frame rate. From my experience of the few times I've actually used it, it's usually pretty close, requiring little adjustment afterwards. It's not magic, though; you still need adequate hardware, and for the best results, the best way to optimize the game is to do it yourself.

I like using the settings it provides and tweaking from there. Sometimes it puts AA at max but I turn it down 1 or 2 steps depending on the game or if I can see an actual improvement.
