SO have the opportunity to buy a   IBM Blade hs21 2x Intel Dual-Core Xeon 5140 8gb no HDD 8853-l4g server

Is it worth it for 30€?

Sure it is. With one caveat - it will run like a jet (noise wise). You might also need to buy Windows Server software and it is different to manage compared to PC.

Yes and no. Like Revsilverspine mentions you need a Blade Chassis to run this server. To put it simply; There is no "power port" it's like a server that slots into a bigger server. A bit like a graphics card slides into a PC. Unless you have a blade enclosure/chassis the thing won't run. 

 

$30 is alright for some memorabilia but blades are really long and highly inconvenient to use in a home environment even if you did have the chassis.
