Looks / feel and performance if you are hardcore into every 0.x% change. In real life use and most gaming scenarios with dedicated GPU - not much. Decide on amount you need, shop around to see average price bracket for it and pick the best you can get.

I've been using value memory in my server for a couple of years now, and my desktop for 4 years, and they work just fine. In case you're wondering, the brand I'm using is G.Skill.
