Can I Run It?

Hi guys! I'm an old-school user as of now.

I'm looking to upgrade from my current system to a better ones.

My current system:

Spoiler

Intel Xeon X5460 - DDR2 4x2GB Team Elite Plus - Noctua NH-D15 - ROG STRIX-GTX1070-O8G - be quiet! SYSTEM POWER 8 600W - Gigabyte EP45-UD3R

What I'm planning to buy:

Spoiler

Intel Core i7 6700K - Asus Z170-A - Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LED 2x8GB

The question is: I'm going to re-use the GPU, HSF and the PSU.

Will the PSU be able to handle the new system?

Will the HSF be able to handle the new temps?

If there is anything that doesn't match the rules (ie the PSU won't turn on a skylake) please just reply down below.

Thanks in advance!

That's some crazy thing you gave me there.

Unfortunately the build cost is somewhat pretty obvious here.

Will try to get that parts when it's somehow dropped.

Cheapest board I can find for the X99 series is the Asus X99-A @365USD

The CPU 5820K rated at 440USD.

Shipping to my country isn't an options, again, overpriced shipping cost.

But.. The cost is far way more expensive than what you pick.

For Unreal Engine 4 and Maya, would you recommend me to pick up the 6700 or the K?

I don't have any plans for upgrading in a few more years.

And are there any same board for lower price than the Z170-A by Asus?

If you are overclocking you need the 6700k, and z170 board, but a 6700 and h170 board will perform the same as the 6700k at stock speeds.
