Im about to build my first gaming pc for my birthday in about a month and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or if any of the parts would "bottleneck" each other?

Only thing I would change is PSU. Get a G2 from EVGA. Otherwise looks good to me.

Why whats wrong with the PSU?

the psu doesnt perform very well, you can get better for the same and less. also, since you're doing 144hz, get an i7/xeon instead, an i5 WILL bottleneck a gtx 1070 in 144hz gaming.

I have a budget to abide from, where can i comprimise to get an i7?

The i5 6600K will bottleneck the GTX 1070 at 1080p 144Hz. Best to ditch the liquid cooler and get a i7 6700K with a cheap air cooler.

 

At this sort of budget, not getting a SSD is a sin.

swap out the PSU and get an SSD at around 120GB-250GB from a decent brand

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Ok but my case only comes with two exhaust fans so I was planning on using the cooler as the front intakes.

as you can see, you can just sacrifice some ram, buy 2400, also you can save on cpu cooler, buy air one, as for OS just go to the kinguin and there are for 25 British pounds and that should save you a bit of money
