Audacity effects [Help]

Hello all, I'm someone who is just looking into audio editing.

I have no idea if i'm even posting on the right forum, or if i'm even on the right website. This is what I found so I decided to look for help here.

I just want to know what effects were used in this video:

I'm using audacity (assuming that will do). What effects did HBO use? I am very new to this, I know pretty much nothing so please take it easy

Sounds like some kind of overdrive autotune.

It's an autotune effect and cleaver editing. It's similar to the technic that is used by schmoyoho in their Autotune the News series.

 

As far as I remember Audacity can't do autotuning nativitvly, but there are a varity of plug-ins that will allow it.

Yeah, it sounds like autotune to me too. I don't know if Audacity has an effect for that, though.

Well, Audacity will let you do autotune. You just have to download some plug-ins. 

Other than that, pretty much all DAWs will have some sort of pitch correcting build in.
