Help about Printing Accurate Stuff!

So on monday i need to make a Box for our team project. But i was assigned to make the Box. So how can i print something (or make) that has a accurate and actual size like lets say i will print this box image for like 5 inches but when its printed its not 5 inches maybe smaller. Thanks guys. Or you can teach me how to make accurate printing on MS word or give me a Software that can do that. Thx :D

Best thing is to get software which allows to make layout directly to A4 size template. I use Office Publisher for that (part of Professional package). Inkscape is open source one which would do the same. LibreOffice might also have some but I haven't used it in awhile.
