I'm planning on upgrading my 4x512mb 667mhz DDR2 sticks of ram(manufacturer nanya technology) to 4x1gb 667mhz sticks. My motherboard is Asus P5B SE and it supports dual channel. What I'm wondering is, if I get 2 pairs of sticks from different manufacturers, with same frequencies, will I be able to run them all at the same time? Or will there be any problems with it? And if I can run them, how should I put them in the sockets?

Thanks in advance.

Usually if they are the same frequencies and timings, you should be good. Sometimes they dont always play nice though so there is a chance they wont work together.

Some DDR2 boards are a bit odd, so if you can, try to buy single sided DDR2 modules.
