Help! Internet Speed

So firstly, I'm not sure if anything can be done but it's worth a shot. So I live practically in the middle of nowhere, I'm averaging around 1.48 download and 0.22 upload ping is around 100, this is painful for me as I like to game. I'm wondering if there is anyway to make it better. Thanks!

apart from going from wireless to wired. not much more. something tells me your location limits the quality of your connection. at that rate you might be better served by some satellite services mind you at a premium cost. but if your a nerd like the rest of us it might be worth ;)

Yeah, I've thought about that but the cost is too much right now, especially since I just moved into a new house not too long ago, I know somewhere in the next 3 years the Internet company we have now will be installing fiber in my area so I know that should help
