First build, high end, suggestions/validation

I'm building a computer for the first time and I'd rather not mess it up. So if you have suggestions for different components or additions I'd like to hear them. I don't really know much about power supplies and would like to know if the AX760 is overkill.. People seemed to like it and with a 7 year warranty I figured it'd be worth it. Also is the CPU cooler any good and should I get additional case fans?

The CPU cooler seems to be great when I see the reviews and the 4.2/5 rating I saw. Your rig seems really powerful and the PSU seems to have a good amount of power to feed your hardware

Looks fine, I'd get the G2 instead, just because it would still be more than adequate and cheaper. Cooler is fine, more fans is your call. Can't hurt to get one or two more though. Just make sure your intake is more than your outtake.

Hey, if you do go with this, don't use the stock fans with the h100i, a jet turbine tends to be more quiet!

Haha, all right. Do you have a recommendation for another cooler with less turbine-like qualities?  Would the NZXT Kraken X61 be any better?

TBH I wouldn't do water-cooled. I'm building a new rig and I got the hype for a water-cooled system but it's just not worth it. I ended up going with the Be Quiet! Dark Rock TF with Dark Rock case fans. The loudest thing in the entire system is the gpu so as you can imagine it's quiet af. (GPU Is an EVGA 1070 FTW)

Yeah I guess it's a bit gimmicky.. Would still like to water cool it though, because reasons. I'll take this into consideration.

I had the same reaction, you do enough research like I did and I think you'll end up with the same thought. I know nothing I say from this point rly matters but I do implore you do to as much research as possible.
