Truth or rumor?

So quick question, someone I know told me that there were "confirmed rumors", whatever that bullcrap means, that Microsoft was gonna charge windows 10 home users a fee for the use of Windows 10 home? Is this true or not because I don't buy into rumor garbage which this sounds like to me.

Windows 10 was announced as paid yearly. It is not now, and will never be.

No, they stopped trying to get people to pay a yearly fee after it received a lot of hate.

Probably not. The windows eula is a unlimited time licence for normal home users.

No. Once you upgrade to Windows 10, you've got it, and it's free for the supported lifetime of that device.

 

Even if you bought a new copy of Windows 10, it's just like the old system. You pay once and it's yours for that machine. I don't think there's any recurring subscription system offered.

Thanks guys I had a feeling someone had some bad information and I hate rumors. I also assume the same goes for Pro users too?
