Hi my laptop wont charger anymorr so i an not sure what is broken, it 8 months old. I think the negative wire is broken, because when i took out the battery and plugged in the charger i touched the pins that connect laptop to battery with my power testing screwdriver and the ligth ligthed up. Also for the last 2 days when it was still working laptop charger wire where it goes in to a laptop became very hot never done that before. What do you guys think the problem is ?

I dont understand why all charger are made with very thin wires that then break. I rather have charger with fat wire that wont break

i think it best to check back with the laptop manufacturer if the charger is covered under warranty

most i heard for warranty for charger is 6 months

you are better off buying a new charger than trying to repair it

it may be there is a short inside and may cause a fire

if the charger got unreasonably hot (like, untouchable) then the power brick could have died. in this case, get a new charger
