Honestly I'm sorry you had to experience that. I've been using NCIX for years and I've never really had a bad experience.

 

Hopefully they will learn from this experience and try to make it better for people going through a similar process.

It's probably a fine place to order as long as you know how they do things, but the level of customer support was not up to par.

Ended up ordering thru amazon for the extra $30 in tax

Bruh, just remember to update that PayPal address. This isn't something only NCIX does, most retailers will only ship to the address on your PayPal account if that's how you pay. The good news is it takes all of 4 seconds to update your address.

You're correct on this being a standard practice w/ PayPal. It's to help prevent fraud. Obviously not everyone is committing fraud when using a different shipping address then what is on your PayPal account, but it's often a sign of a throwaway account, etc.

 

Kinda sucks when an innocent person gets inconvenienced by a process that had to be instituted to combat the small minority who abuse the system.
