I have a spare PC I built a while back. It currently has windows 8.1 installed and I wanted to upgrade to windows 10 before the free upgrade expires. I also want to put the windows 10 upgrade on a solid state drive that is not currently installed in the PC.  How would I go about doing this the easy way?

Here is where I would keep my frolics if I had any.
