I really wanna jump to 21:9 its kinda of exciting IMO I know most games and movies dont natively support 21:9 but the games i play mostly do have work arounds like fallout 4, MGSV and GTA V are main AAA games. I DONT PLAY MOST FPS. i play COD/BF once in a blue moon at this time. last time i played bf was nov 2015 for maybe 40 mins? im eager to get back to my Fallout gal! ;) Im on a 24' acer k242hl which is a TN panel i think been years since i checked. massive upgrade!

I recently picked up a GTX 1080 and thought id be nice to her and me ;) getting a new monitor to go with her. now gsync would be nice but as long as Vsync and i dont drop from 60 ill be perfectly fine with it :)

Doesn't answer your question, but holy crap the Acer Predator X34A is still nearly a grand??????? £350 more than it's Freesync version.

Back to your question, I'd go LG. Mostly just because I trust the brand and Amazon returns are pretty painless. Or the other Acer Predator https://www.overclockers.co.uk/acer-predator-xr341ckb-34-3440x1440-ips-75hz-widescreen-super-wide-curved-led-monitor-mo-090-ac.html you won't be able to use the Freesync, but it's 75Hz refresh rate is higher than the others.
