Hey guys need your help!!!

Im planning to build a twitch.tv streaming pc mainly league or overwatch. I have 2 builds that my friend suggested to me but i want your opinion to.

 

Build 1

Intel Core i5-6500 3.20-3.60GHz Skylake    
Asus B150 Pro Gaming Aura 
Zotac GTX 1060 AMP! Edition 6GB Gddr5 
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB Dual DDR4 2400

Build 2

Both are amazing choices. Some heads up tho: instead of corsair cx (pretty low quality) i suggest getting something of similar wattage from EVGA. The second build is the best of course since the processor allows for overclocking. If you don't want to do that just pick the first one.

The i5 Will be a hotelletje for the 1060

Second choice is better but it's got a subpar power supply and the RAM isn't compatible with the motherboard. You'll want a better quality PSU such as the XFX TS 550W and a Z170 motherboard that supports DDR4, not DDR3.

Hey thanks for this, is the msi z710A tomahawk a good motherboard? it supports ddr4

Oh good, about the PSU what do you think will do? we dont have evga PSU's in my country we have Thermaltake Seasonic Coolmaster and Corsair

The Seasonic unit you've got in your first build is basically the same as the XFX TS 550W.

There are some EVGA power supplies that are excellent and there are some which are bad. On the other hand, Seasonic generally makes quality power supplies so there are pretty much a safe choice regardless.

 

To answer your question, the Seasonic unit is fine. I'm betting it's unlikely you'll be able to pick up a good EVGA unit for the same price.

What's your budget? Because a quad core xeon with hyper-threading will be better for streaming at roughly the same price as an i5.
