gpu companies

Go to solution Solved by SnowyMus,

For the GPU itself, most likely not. An RX 480 is an RX 480. However, it can differ per-card due to the design of the card itself as well as any factory overclock, which is why aftermarket cards are regarded as superior to the reference designs and often overclock better.

Goes to the performance it self does nvidea gtx 960 vs rx 480 which better? Cause i think it almost the same class

Not even close. For a lot of its lifetime, the 960 was in the shadow of AMD's previous-generation card, the R9 380. The RX 480 is newer, it has more VRAM, it's much faster, and it supports entry-level VR. I'd avoid buying a GTX 960 at retail price. If you really want a GTX 960, get a secondhand card off of somewhere like eBay.

Is it going to affect the performance? There was amd rx 480 but it was powercolor is it the best choice or not? Cause the other companies like giga msi and asus ini my contry are sold out :( inwould glad that someone could explain if there is something different between rx 480 giga or rx 480 powercolor if not then i would buy thos rx 480 powercolor

powercolor is fine, and the difference in performance between any two 480's from separate companies is going to be minimal at best.

Stay away from asus and gigabyte on the amd end of things though, not the best reputation.

Well currently there's NO difference between each RX480 since it's only the reference design rebranded by each companies. The ideal would be to wait for custom cards (custom cooling and PCB). I personally had a bad customer service experience with Gigabyte and MSI, so I wouldn't recommend them (I know I'm not the only one). Don't about Asus and other AMD partners though

the 480 is roughly equivalent to a 970, so leaps and bounds better than a 960.
