I assume new rig?

If yes, did you get all the drivers installed?

Do not worry, i was a bit stupid and the cable wasn't quite in the plug properly and it needed jiggleing about a bit!

So i have a problem with my sound a microphone.

When i plug my Blue snowball in to the back of my mobo (USB) It isnt detected by skype. When i plug a razer kracken headset into the mic jack it works as a really bad mic but the headphones dont work. When i plug them into the heaphone jack they act as headphones but the mic doesnt work! What do i do? I really need this to work as i use it for important stuff daily.

You may need to know that i use a tv for a monitor and i have a msi z170a sli plus mobo.

MY RIG

I5 6600k

16gb Corsair vengeance 2666mhz

MSI Gaming X 1070

WD blue 2tb

samsung 850 evo 250gb

EVGA supernova G2 650w
