Today i was planning out my next F@H rig, and i saw that the cost of SWTX cases were pretty insane.

Being rack-mountable would be best, and id rather not anything over 4U. The cases alone (that i have seen) were in the $800-$1100 range. For that kind of money i think it would be cheaper to simply build another 2p system in a cheaper case.

I have also heard that most E-ATX cases will support SWTX boards, you just need to re-drill the mounting holes. Im not sure if this will work though. If this works though ill plan for a 4P system.

Anyone have any input?

Maybe an open frame case would be more to your liking? I hear many good things from Spotswood products and having members like Whaler backing them should be indicative enough.

Basically his chassis allow you to customize them however you want due to the amount of flexibility his choice of frame material provides. He also offers options to stack individual chassis together, like Whaler does in his build logs. Support for up to 4P / SWTX size boards, with varying options for layout and extras such as drive bays and fan tabs. But yeah the list of custom options is quite long so you should check it out and see what options appeal to you.
