This is a SUPER weird build. o.O  The A8-3850 has a IGP with Radeon HD 6XXX type core, with a core count of 400:20:8  Meanwhile someone put a Radeon HD 6670 in there, which ALSO has a core count of 480:24:8.  Now, the IGP can only address 1GB of RAM tops and it's slower since it uses the DDR3 system ram instead of GDDR5 RAM, the HD 6670 has 2GB and it's core is also a bit faster.  ...But it's really BARELY an upgrade.  Like, I can't imagine that that GPU improved graphics performance of the system by much.  I'm baffled as to why someone spent money to add a discrete GPU that is marginally...

Is this an Asymmetrical Crossfire Setup?

I would say it's probably time for a total upgrade, but for sake of argument, you want the best upgrade you can get with what you have and without spending to much.

I looked up some stuff, the best processor you can get for your mobo is the A8-3870K.  As for the GPU, I'm not sure, maybe a GTX 950.  There might be bottlenecks, but I saw an HD 7970 for like $120 a few weeks back on eBay... maybe one of those for the GPU.  Also, I'd probably get an SSD if I were you, it can help breath some new life into the system.

Also, (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) with DDR3, RAM speeds don't really matter.  So unless I'm missing something, he really shouldn't need to upgrade that.

So I'd say if you can afford it, build a completely new system.  Otherwise, GPU, CPU, Storage, RAM; that order.
