What's wrong with a straight voltage control?

If you want to control everything from a single PWM fan header, you can also consider a PWM splitter. Swiftech has one which I use to manage all my fans from the CPU header.

Not sure what PWM controllers are good though.

Desktop: Core i5-2500K, ASUS GTX 560, MSI Z68A GD65, CM HAF 912 Advanced, OCZ Vertex 4, WD 1TB Black, Seasonic P660, Samsung S27A850D, Audioengine A2, Noctua NH-D14, NB eLoops

Laptop: Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon

Peripherals: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, Razer Deathadder 3.5G, Razer Deathadder 2013, Razer Goliathus Control, Razer Manticor

One molex power, One PWM header, 4 controller fans :) Works a treat

I dont want to use the headers on my motherboard because the software for it is terrible and it keeps ramping up the RPM when evert the cpu goes under any load.. even if its just for a minute

Ah ok then. If you're looking for a normal PWM fan controller, I think NZXT/Lamptron/Zalman have some decent stuff. Not that familiar, so try to find a review or two before you buy.

If you're looking for something more high end, there's options like the mCubed T balancer and whatever Aqua Computer has(Aquaero 5 XT, etc). Those offer tons of customization, but may be trickier to use and are a waste of money if you don't need them.

You could use mobo headers and forget gigabytes own software. I use speedfan to cpu and open hwmonitor for other to keep them running at stable speeds.
