Please help me understanding better PSUs and best PSU for i5 6400 and GTX 960 OC?

He'd need like 10 desktop hard drives to get there and they would all need to be running all the time

I wouldn't buy a 950/960. Maxwell's DX12 performance is utter shit and under Vulkan it gets creamed by AMD so badly it's laughable. R9 380 4GB minimum

You may want to save up for a 1060/480 then. Really, Maxwell is VERY bad in DX12/Vulkan and future games will run like shit
