Microphone Ideas Around $30? ($30 to $50)

theninja35

After owning an AntLion ModMic that broke, I'm interested in a microphone that is as high quality as possible for $30. I'm not interested in recommendations for $500 professional Sennheiser microphones, I'm interested only in microphones under or around $30. If there are literally no decent microphones for $30, I can go up to $50. I've found two microphones from $30-$40 that I have not heard of, but they are cheap and have stands.

Excelvan BM-800: Here (Amazon Link)

Excelvan BM-700: Here (Amazon Link)

For $50, I've been recommended the Blue Snowball an incredible amount of times, but my friend has it and it really is not that good. So, if you have ideas for microphones at $50, please do not recommend the Blue Snowball. However, if you are so eager to do so, please persuade me as to why it is so good.

Thanks.

(Oh yeah, I wasn't sure whether or not I should put this in Audio or Peripherals, so if it's in the wrong spot, please move it/report it.)

Where in the world did you get a AT2020 + USB for that cheap price? they are usually much more expensive

You think the snowball sounds bad, and you're willing to get some nameless cheap looking mic you've never heard of?

I don't know what to say.

What did you dislike about the snowball?

I mean, to be frank, your price restriction is really tight.

What are you expecting from a mic?

I have found an AT2020 for $70 on Ebay, so 50 Pounds isn't far off.

Teamspeak and future recording, preferably. But if I do end up recording I will then buy a microphone worth more money. If I do end up getting an attached microphone, it will be another ModMic.

I am not saying the Snowball sounds bad, but instead that it is far too praised for what it is. Maybe it is the settings that I have listened to it at, but I don't think it sounds as high quality as people say it should and it sounds echo-y, but that might be the room he was in. The Floureon microphone that was recommended by Dresta and TechSource sounds almost as good as the Snowball and is $20 cheaper.
