1,35 V is a lot (I have my cpu @1,22 Volt @4,5 ghz)

Remember the silicon lottery. From the sounds of it you really lucked out with your CPU.

It's not recommended to use Prime95 with Haswell CPU's because they can cause the CPU to go crazy in terms of thermals. AIDA64 or the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility are the recommended tools. At least until/if Prime95 gets a Haswell compatible update.

3570k is not haswell, i think he should try prime 95 just to be sure

You're right of course, the 3570k is Ivy Bridge. I misread it as the 4670k since most of these newer threads are about Haswell :P

 

In this case, yeah, Prime95 is perfectly safe, and a great program. I really do hope they release a patch for Haswell mind you.
