Depends on your definition of safe. It's a site for pirated software

I mean somewhere I won't get a virus or malware from.

So there isn't a more official/legal way to get it?

I'd love to either do a normal install or a virtual machine of XP so I can run old games that don't work on Windows 10.

You only have to check if your laptop can handle the heat and power draw.

As for XP - PirateBay is also illegal in a sense so while I personally don't endorse it, you CAN get XP from there

How would I check those things?

Funny enough. My moms laptop didnt receive the notification until recently. Come to find out, half the updates for the past year failed. I finally got the laptop to update, by leaving it on for a few days. We all know there is issues with Windows 7 update. Any way, I convinced my mom to do it on her laptop. Only because Windows 10 is the future.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
