Does AMD A8 7600 APU bottleneck with RX 480? What PSU will be enough for this?

Depends on the game. Generally, it's not a wise idea to pair a nice GPU with an APU. But, if you already own it and plan on upgrading in the future anyways, might as well buy the GPU now while you wait for Zen / Kaby Lake to show up.

i have an a10-6700 which turbo's to 4.3ghz on the stock cooler

i dont think it should be an issue for 1080p gaming (your cpu turbos to 4ghz i think)

however it definitely seems like an odd combination of parts

a good quality 500watt psu should be fine

except they are not, especially when buying a dedicated GPU. 

 

A 860/870/880k is cheaper and better/equivalent to the best APU.

Only problem for some people is no AM3+ ITX socket, looking forward to this being resolved with Zen though.
