Hello there. I deicided to buy a Zalman Z11 Neo case and it has space for 6 120MM fans (i plan to instantly replace the fans in with new fans, leaving just the old 80mm fans).

Im adding the prices to the specs, so that you can take them into consideration as well.

So the fans i pick from are:

Pure wings 2 (19.2 db, 51.4 cfm) - cheapest (55% of base)

http://www.bequiet.com/en/casefans/449

Pure wings 2 PWM (20.2db, 51.4 cfm) - medium (80% of base)

http://www.bequiet.com/en/casefans/617

Shadow Wings 2 PWM(17.9db, 50.5 cfm) - "base" price

http://www.bequiet.com/en/casefans/263

Mainly just considering if i even need a PWM for under 20db fans? Are they even audible from arround half a meter (~20 inches) of distance?

Also considering putting 2 fans with blue LED's, my considerations atm are:

Enermax t.b.vegas (25db, 76 cfm) - "base" price

http://www.enermax.co.uk/tbvegas/

Corsair AF120 Quiet Edition (25.2db, 52.2 cfm) - (75% of base)

http://www.corsair.com/en/air-series-af120-led-blue-quiet-edition-high-airflow-120mm-fan-twin-pack

And now, the last question is, if i have 6 fans, but only 3 slots for controls on Motherboard, can i just purhase something like "Noctua NA-SEC1" and extend those 3 slots to controll 6 fans? (If i understand correctly, i'll just be controlling 2 fans with a single controller?) Are there any downsides to that solution?

Those Enermax Vegas fans are pretty damn good. You should look into those.

3 pin fans can also have their speed controlled through voltage, PWM is better at it by allowing more accurate fine adjustments. Pretty sure you can do the same with 2 pin fans, you just don't get any indication of fan speed
