Hello so I've just bought a Xenyx 502 and I want to make 2 separate audio inputs (the motherbord I'm using is Asus Maximus VII Hero). And I just can't figure that out. I don't use RCA cables I use the jack ones and I've managed to get one channel working properly another one the motherboard sees that something is connected and names it as an input device but it just says unplugged and won't me play it. The reason I want two separate audio channels is because I'm streaming on twitch and sometime I stream ARMA III and I want to keep my playlist playing with the ability to mute it inside my headphones without muting it for the stream. Which jack should I use? Pls halp :)

You could try using virtual audio cable to separate out the audio streams

Well I have Xenyx 502 mixer so I have a cable 3.5mm on the one side and 2 6.3 on the other end and this goes to the green jack on my pc and on the mixer it goes to the Line in 2/3 jacks and my sennheiser hd 598 goes into Phones jack (also 6.3mm) and that's it. Later on I'll be connecting AT2020 to XLR jack and I have another free channel named 4/5 also 2x 6.3mm and I want to make another input but it seems that I need to use a front panel jack but that's shattered so I'm trying to figure out how to make separate channels

Please draw us a diagram of how it currently is with arrows. I'm really struggling to understand what exactly it is you've got going on.

ENCRYPTION IS NOT A CRIME
