Netgear drivers suck, but default windows 10 drivers perfectly okay?

harveylong26

Bought a Netgear A6210 for my desktop setup as I am too far away from an ethernet port. When I installed the Netgear drivers from their website, it sucks. I get 10mbps download speeds and on top of that, it's plugged into USB 3. When it's plugged into USB 2 however, and the software and drivers are uninstalled, it works great! I get 50-75mbps download speeds with a range from 10-25mbps upload speeds. What could be causing this issue? If it's a PC related issue my specs are in my sig.

My Build: G3258 OC@4.4GHz - Raijintek Aidos - 8GB Ballistix Sport - H81M-S2H - ASUS R7 250 1GB OC - Corsair Carbide SPEC-01 - EVGA 500+ BRONZE - Windows 10 Pro - Logitech MX Master & K800 Keyboard

My Laptop: Macbook Pro (mid 2010) - C2D @ 2.6GHz - 8GB Apple Ram - Nvidia Geforce 320m 512mb - 850 Evo 120GB + 500GB WD Blue - OS X Sierra

Yeah I do feel sorry for you guys, I'm in the south of the UK near London and my parents pay for the best package (their choice not mine) and we don't even get the full speed we should be getting. Why does it suck so much in Aussie?

The technicians sit on their ass to get payed and when they get calls to get lines installed they don't really do them. Luckily Australia is getting NBN (Nation Broadband Network) and it will be 10x the speed but i cannot get it yet for maybe a year or two. :(

Yeah but some people already have it. There are houses just a mile away with NBN! One guy had a house right next to him and they had NBN and he was stuck with ADSL (Very Slow).
