LED's on ram

looking at ram at ncix.com finding it hard to understand the descriptions

what is ram with leds called? does it say it in the description?

 

any help much appreciated

LED Strips should be fine, but I'm sure I've seen a video on the TechTips channel for LED RAM before.

there's a lot of fancy ram sticks out there, avexir even did these pieces of space technology:

 

the core matter is that they honestly generally look hideous, and you're much better off buying a more simple stick of ram with your ordinary heatspreader, and spending that money on some tasteful case lighting. for the price premium you'll pay for stuff like those sticks, i got myself 5 meters worth of actually quite impressive RGB LED strip, the controller for them isnt the greatest but i'm sure one of its 16 colors fits you.

Geil Black Dragons, they are actually very good looking ram sticks, high quality ram kits with a great looking naked PCB.
