so i wanted to overclock my graphics card and me being me did it on my own and ever since i have my games FPS has increase yet the games tend to crash and have errors wich never use to happen. an example of this is league of legends tends to crash when im playing now wich never use to happen. i dont rember what the base clock was but atm i am running a core voltage at min

power limit at +2

core clock 1050 MHz

memory clock at 1158 MHz

and a fan speed at 50%

my gpu sits at a solid 31°c all the time

i used msi afterburner to help me any help fixing my problem or improveing a better clock speed or an specs i should be sitting at would be very helpful thankyou big1243

Well, having the exact model of the GPU would help identifying the problem. It's likely that you simply pushed the clocks too high. Without the proper voltage, crashes can occur quite frequently.

CPU : i7 8700k @5GHz, GPU : ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX, RAM : 2x8Go 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance, MB : ASUS Prime Z370-A, PSU : CM V850, Case :  NZXT S340, CPU Cooler : NZXT Kraken x62, Monitor : Acer Predator XB271HU 27" 1440p 165Hz, OS : Windows 10 Home 64 bits

Okay then download GPU-Z and take a screenshot of the "Graphics Card" tab first. It will be easier to give you some advice

Well, fyi, you have an AMD HD 7770. It might come in handy to know it ;)

As for your overclocking, you didn't push the clock too far it seems. This card should handle 1100ish on core clock and up to 1400ish on memory clock. But keep in mind that every GPU is different. While some people might not need to add any voltage at all to reach great clocks, others may have to add voltage quite quickly to maintain stability.

You should try to find the max stable clocks (first by only overclocking the core) without adding any voltage, and once you have that max clock, add only 10-20MHz to the core clock and push a little the voltage then test. If it's stable, add more to the core clock and repeat. If not, add a bit more voltage until it's stable.
