yep.you will need lga 1151 and the current one uses 1150

You will need new motherboard and also new rams.

 

So you need Z170 motherboard + DDR4 rams.

If you want save some dough on ram department go with z170-p d3, it uses ddr3 so you dont have to buy ddr4.

You need to buy CPU based on the Graphics card you want to use. For gtx 1070/1080 you should get the i7 6700K, because the i5 bottleneck them a bit. Everything under that, a i5 6600K will do just fine.
