So yesterday i bought new case NZXT Phantom 530 and Gigabyte GTX 970.

Me and my friend replacing all the components from my old PC to the new one. Here are the specs:

  1. i7 4790k
  2. Gigabyte GTX 970
  3. Corsair CX750M
  4. Corsair DDR3 Vengeance Pro 2x8(16GB)
  5. Gigabyte GA H97-Gaming-3
  6. Cooler Master HYPER 212X TURBO

When everything done, i plug the power cable behind the case, and turn the switch.

Funny thing is, before i press the power button in the top of case, my pc turn on for a split second, then turn off.

I tried the solutions from other forum like remove then insert the RAM stick, reseating heatsink, remove GPU. Still the same problem.

I bought the motherboard a year ago and PSU in 2014, so it's still kinda new i think. And have a zero problem before this.

Anyone knows how to fix it ?

you say it turns "on" for a second, so the fans spin or do you get a post or anything?

when only the fan(s) it could be because you turn the psu switch on and they get an impulse

if there is no burning smell of anything it might be only a plugg

you should try plugging all power connectors off and connect them properly ( 4pin + 24pin connectors maybe more depending on mobo )

maybe people will say its the CX thats gonna explode :D because many of them are supposed for "basic" non demanding builds

It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Wake on LAN.

Maybe some of your friends decided to change configuration on your PC + router and trolling you now to have higher bill :P

p.s.: I don't have any idea why that's happening to you.

Well, disable wake on lan if you dont need it. Also, old storage hmm... Could be infected and is now a zombie for ddos attack. Idk for sure

I didn't know that feature until you mention it, lol.

I'm pretty sure i'm not enabling it.

Done recheck and reconnecting all the wires, still no luck :(

Could it be the motherboard ?

I post some pictures, hope it helps.
