I want to build a pc that runs arma at at least 30+ fps constantly maybe more. I am thinking of going used. Maybe craigslist or ebay. Is this a bad idea? If not how much should i expect to save. It will proabably be a pretty high end pc. Also how do i tell what parts are compatible? Thanks!

It might look intimidating, but PC Part Picker is a great tool for computer builders. If you want to buy off of ebay/craigslist, I'd say go ahead if you can garuntee that the parts work and its for a cheaper price. For Arma 3, picking up a 970 (or even 960) would be great if you can get it for cheap. As far as other stuff goes, i'd recommend going here to see the minimum and recommended specs for the game.

Where I'm at, Craigslist is unusually viable. GTX 950 Strix for $60. Plenty of times there are also nearly complete systems for the cheap. A mini-ITX bare bones was going for $160. So, it may work.
