Earphone solutions for IEMs, good fast service at decent prices, and a good deal if you can get a coupon code. A couple of my friends and I even ordered from there and shipped straight to Singapore.

If you're looking to buy online, I do suggest you compare with Treoo's prices. They're an online store here in SG, and if the prices aren't that different, you might as well buy it back home, saves a bit of rush on your trip and gets you good local warranty.

Understand that you're really looking for US Stores, but sometimes the inconvenience of buying there just isn't worth the tiny savings as compared to SG.

Laptop: Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon

Peripherals: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, Razer Deathadder 3.5G, Razer Deathadder 2013, Razer Goliathus Control, Razer Manticor

Damn, Brea mall had nothing..no good IEM's for below USD200? Excluding SE215 lol

Westone 1/Westone UM1/Westone UM Pro 10? Depending on retailer, may even be able to find some of the slightly higher end Westones too

Probaby some good VSonic/Etymotic Research things too.

Checked up all those except the Pro 10. Will have a look at that. Maybe some cans might do. Sennheiser HD558 vs Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro

The Westones are supposed to have international warranty, but can be a bit tricky as to what it's like when you personally export from US.

Yeah a good pair of full-sized headphones should be nice too, I prefer IEMs because I wear glasses, but a lot of it is personal preference. Pros and cons to each.

The problem is that most of them do not have a service center in Singapore, so a lot of the warranty claims are handled by sending them overseas for repair anyway. As such, the real cost of warranty claims is shipping to the US, which is dependent on the manufacturer. Etymotic's website isn't very clear, but it appears as if you only have to pay for shipping one way as long as it is in warranty. Still not sure if they handle international claims though.

I wear spectacles as well. Def understand that uncomfortable feeling. Thanks alot for the info man. I'll think it through. Decided to buy the E10 locally since I can get it for a hundred.

I completely forgot about it until now, but headroom is great

http://www.headphone.com/

going b stock or used is a great way to save a few bucks

here's headroom's page,  it's where I picked up my HE500's

I'd at least read the top of the page, because they are decently strict with what they re-sell.

Will work for electronic components and parts

Well in my defense I'd refute that because it isn't dumb where I am from. Things are prolly diff in the states but I'm not entirely used to it yet.

Fair 'nuff. Most people just throw things away they don't use anymore around here, so if it's in good condition it's more likely to get sold.

Ahh..I see I see. Well well. I'm reading intensely abt the 598/558 & 990 LOL also searching for local audio stores nearby. Went to bestbuy earlier, they had sennheiser there and I tried the PC380. Omg the earcup size is perfect. Not even touching my ears at all. I do wonder if the Beyers would touch my ears cos the 558/598 have a similar earcup shape to the 380 I tried.
