Setting up a Second Router as a Repeater?

Hello all,

I was just wondering how I would go about setting up a second router in a different part of my house that would extend the signal to the dead spots in my house. For my ISP I use Mediacom and they provide us a Modem/Router but the one that they gave us does not reach very far.

 

Any help will be appreciated!

You buy anouther router or acess point and don't use the wan port?

Im trying to do it without having to extend an Ethernet cable throughout the house

get 1 better access point to cover the whole house so you do not have to deal with the problems of repeators.

I suggest a Ubiquiti Inifi AC AP
