Is it OK to use resin on a flash drive circuit board?

Xtreme Gamer

The plastic casing for my flashdrive is losing its grip and comes off kinda easily depending on how you unplug it from the port. I wanted to know if I can put resin on the pcb of the flash drive so static doesn't kill it if the casing does come off. Or will the resin mess with the flash drive circuits?

Thanks for the help!!!!

Yeah it's not a problem it's fairly common to use a potting compound to waterproof and encase electronic PCB's.
