I have a Lenovo y700 with Windows 10 and I found this setting called Conservation mode. It says Use This setting if you keep your computer plugged into AC most of the time. (The only thing I really do is gaming when I have the AC plugged in)  It also says it will only charge to 55-60% and it will maximize the amount of time before I need to replace the battery. It sounds really useful, but I don't know if I should use this now or later when i'm getting closer to replacing the battery. Should I keep gaming to 10-60% or 10-100% Thanks in advance.

i've never understood that whole 60% thing... i had a convo about this with some people who *actually* know their way around batteries, more than me just making along for shits and giggles.

result being that draining them low is actually a bigger issue than topping them off, with a 25-75% being more ideal than both of those.
