Is the CoolerMaster GX 550W CM Storm PSU a good one for a first gaming build to put with a i5-6500 and GTX 960?

The EVGA Supernova G2 550W is very good. Rated 10 on JonnyGuru. Only if you can afford it where you live.

I get that the G2 is great and all but can we actually help out the original poster by answering their question than immediately cramming as many recommendations for the G2 as we can in a single thread? It's  getting ridiculous, the GX will be fine for his system.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Definitely will be fine but when there can be better options to choose from, you may as well suggest them.

I suggested the EVGA because the PSU you had in mind had some problems based on Newegg reviews.
