Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a surge protector for my new rig. I know the more Joules the better, and power noise filtration is a plus. But do I need to be looking out for anything else? I have an 860W power supply, is there anything I need to look for as far as how much power I can pull through one of these things? Do they have a limit on wattage or amperage they can pass through one socket? Or should I be going with a UPS, and if so, I know nothing about them, what do I need to know?

The UPS is the best you could get, i like Cyberpower models, and if you are getting a UPS make sure it is pure sine wave and covers more watts than your PSU. You could also get a line conditioner that will ensure clean power to the PC but there will be no battery back up for it.
