Battery backup

Hi there,

Does anyone could help me to choose battery backup? I have 5820k and 2 x gtx 950 with 8 screens. I started losing power in my apartment. I dont know why and once it happens everything just turns off. Because of that one of my screens died and I really need to buy battery backup. I dont know anything about products like that so could you recommand something?Insert other media

That sounds like a very power hungry setup, and you're likely going to need to spend as much money as you did getting that setup to get a battery backup for it. Are you sure you're not drawing so much power from a single outlet that you trip a circuit breaker or fuse?

This is what I was thinking, but if its recent and that this hasn't happened any time before while the 8 Monitors was on, Then someone else must be wrong, Okar I would recommend you to use 1 plug for maybe 2 Monitors at most, Then see what happens.

Well, 1500W should be more than enough?

 

Even now when pc is off I lost power in apartment.

Once I lost power my computer didnt want to start. If I didnt know that I have to change boot device in bios I would assume that something died. Every time it happens I have to change boot device.... In KMPLayer I have errors. It really pisses me off

APC is the way to go. Mine tells me how many surges have happened, current load in watts and amps, battery time remaining, battery health and so much more. My PC can be idle for around 30 minutes with it so I have time to safely shut down. If you don't know the power is out it beeps.

For your entire system it shouldn't draw more than 500-600W at load depending on the screens you have but something like theses will work, as for your power going out you may be exceeding the current limit on your circuit as you mentioned you added an AC unit, try moving that to another circuit.
