Xsplit Broadcaster black screen

I have been having a problem with Xsplit Broadcaster that whenever I try to record a web browser such as Google Chrome as you see in the picture it just shows up black. However whenever I record a game it works fine.

Try using a monitor capture instead.

 

It works on OBS... So honestly, I'd just use OBS Studio, it's literally the same thing but a million times better. And it's free.
