Steam age of credit card matter?

Hi,  i have a question, you know if i had a debit card that says I'm am 16 but i wanted to buy a game that 18 rated can i still do it or not (does the card age impact steam)?

Yes it works for me atleast

It doesn't check that, so long as your account age passes your good.

Even then, it very seldom matters. I recall buying BioShock Infinite in early 2013 as a 17 year old.
