Google Translate

Go to solution Solved by AresKrieger,

On Google Translate What do you think? I was willing to to use Latin , but does not work, that it is not the correct suffixes exist , hail am trying to say , " What are you doing ? " Was taken Latin is translated, " Hail, What are you doing? " I ask, sorta .. But it is not that something else is at work . For they turn to other tongues, as the fornications, and on right the evils of Google

I don't know you tell me xD (this is just latin again for lulz, it similar things for most languages though)

What are your thoughts on Google Translate?

I've been trying to use it for Latin, but it does not work at all, the correct suffixes are non existant, Trying to say hello, "how are you?" In English translated to Latin goes to "hail! How are you do?" Which sorta.. works but it's not exactly what I'm looking for.

Does google translate work well with other languages or does it screw up just as bad?

I have just recently switched from bab.la to google translate and I am kind of experiencing the same. Recoginition is agrevating at best. and translations are meh. i would get a designated app for each language. Worked great for me in the past.

The fact that they want business's to use this is pretty funny.. If I owned a business then I'd go nowhere near Google Translate.

It gives good base for read-proofing. And works from another language to English most of the time. I've used it to translate some references for my Masters thesis. So far Spanish, Slovenian and German have worked at least with accuracy I can use (with knowledge of what text is about ).

Google Translate is only as good as the people using it.

Part of the deal is that you as a user improve the translation if you know better.

The languages which are used the most improve the fastest.

I don't think that many people are translating to and from Latin.
