Hello guys,

I want to get into enterprise printer technologies a little bit, since I am going to start working in that branche in the next months. I want to learn especially about new exciting technologies which may not already be present in today's companies. I already tried to research some, but I thought maybe some of you guys are interested or working in a similar branche and may know a lot about printer technologies. I don't ask you to explain them to me, it would just be nice to kind of collect some new technologies on the market which could be useful in larger companies.

Thank you in advance, I am looking forward to learning from your knowledge.

(I'm getting invited to a lot more parties since then, by the way)

so.. are we talking about technologies to make printer ink even more ridiculously expensive, or about how it's already that expensive it's cheaper to print something in 3D than it is to print on paper? :P

other than that... printing technology has been surprisingly stagnant. thing have changed, but it's mostly the "tiny improvements over the last generation of printer" way of things changing. nothing really *big* has happened in a while.
