Hey,

I am building a pc and in need of a PSU.

My motherboard(ASRock Z97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150) needs a 8-pin connector, my GPU (GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 970 4GB G1 GAMING OC EDITION) also need an 8-pin connector.

If someone can point me in the direction of a PSU that has 2x 8-pin, 1x 6-pin and is a minimum of 450W please tell me.

Thanks.

An EVGA GQ/B2/GS/G2 550W or higher would do you nicely.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I would get the EGVA G2. I just picked one up myself to replace my CS650M from Corsair.

If you want to pay the least possible for a PSU that will handle your hardware, get a Corsair CX450M (not the 430W one, that one's not as good)

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

NOTE:

The 8-pin for your CPU (8-Pin ATX) and the 8-Pin for the GPU (6+2 Pin PCI-E) are not the same and have both different keying and outputs. Putting one into the other without an adapter will short the PSU, possibly killing it and the motherboard. Luckily, as the keying is different, you'd have to do some modifications to put it in.

Another thing that is missing is your budget.
