So this website is down: http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/

I'm usually looking there for comparison, but that website is not working since morning. I would just like to know which SSD would be better:

SSDNOW V300 480G 2.5 KINGSTON

ADATA SP550 480GB

Both cost exactly the same (130€), so I will take the one that's better.

Any ideas?

Samsung EVO 960 M.2 250GB | Samsung EVO 860 PRO 512GB | 4x Be Quiet! Silent Wings 140mm fans

Get the SP550, it is a very good value SSD, the V300 is not very good.

Well it does also have 1 year more warranty.

But I can't find any infos for that SP550, how much data it can be writtn on.

Kingston one can handle 224TB write data. For my use it might be a bit low.

Any idea how much write data can ADATA handle?

the SP550 has cell drift problems, data on it will become slower to read with passing time

I know, I had 3 of them with the same exact problem - finally got a Samsung 850 EVO

How much time did it take before you got that problem?

Like after few months of use, or after few years?

Did you RMA it or anything? Does warranty cover that?

the fastest one happened after 1st week in use

RMA people don't know what they're doing or selling

I had to RMA it 3 times and threaten them with consumer protection laws to get me a refund

That doesn't seem right.

After 1 week of use, SSD already slow down?

What we we talking here? from 450mb/s write to 250?

How did you notice that it's slowing down?

Well speed seems kinda okay, but there are few spikes.

I guess that was the problem?

those dips went from not existent brand new to accelerate in degradation after few weeks

in month you'd be expecting scenarios like this:

Well in this case I might just buy kingston one.

Unless someone else come here and say exactly same thing for that ssd also xD

But well, even if that happends, there is still warranty and I can always ask for RMA or something :)

@zMeul

So after you provided your photos, I got interested in my SSD.

Using Samsung EVO 850 250GB for 1 year now. 8TB data writte only, since it was used for windows mostly.

And that's what I get with same program like you:

So there are also spikes with samsung evo 850 ... I didn't monitor it before, so I'm not sure since when it's acting like that.

But it still perform well ... at least I don't have any problems with it so far :)

it would've been interesting to see if those dips were there before

keep an eye on it, see if they go lower

from what other people told me, those pits are most likely caused by random writes - it's possible to smooth them out with a defrag

but in my case with the SP550, I didn't made random writes to it, the only thing sitting on the SSD were games, no OS!!
