Linksys ae1200 wireless network adapter not detected in device manager

i just want to install the drivers so i can connect to wifi when i am not plugged into ethernet at home (friends house), but my adapter doesn't show up in device manager. any tips?

Git driver boost 3 and just let it scan ur system and it will install everyting.

Go here and download the latest driver: http://www.linksys.com/dk/support-article?articleNum=148511

 

Make sure the device is plugged in to your USB port when do the install.  Also I noticed this adapter doesn't officially support any version of Windows higher than Windows 7. So if your using a higher version of Windows you might be screwed. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
